This heartfelt story draws from a personal experience that deeply resonated with me.
It captures the emotional journey of elderly individuals who arrive at a nursing home, grappling with the weight of stress, loneliness, and the inevitability of their final days.
Through their eyes, the film explores the poignant realities of ageing, the longing for connection, and the profound impact of feeling forgotten, offering a compassionate and intimate portrayal of life’s twilight years.
When an elderly woman I had grown close to in the nursing home passed away, it felt like a piece of me died with her.
The loss was as devastating as losing a family member.
My partner tried to comfort me, urging me to keep some emotional distance from the patients, but how could I?
The connections we forge with those we care for are what make the work meaningful, even though it sometimes comes with deep heartache.
It was during this difficult time that I realized my true mission: to find effective and compassionate methods to implement in the nursing home I administer.
But how could I ensure that these new approaches would be truly beneficial? Patients aren't guinea pigs, so instead of experimenting,
I delved into gerontology research and applied my findings in the nursing home, with amazing results. So amazing that I decided to share them with the world. Should I expect any financial benefit from this? No. Why should I? Why all nice things should include financial benefits? Altruism motivated the greatest pioneers of all times, like Nicola Tesla for example.
I also decided to advance my education and offer better results to my patients by making an investment in money and time, first pursuing an MBA as a stepping stone to a Ph.D.
However, life’s challenges and the complexities of others, have created obstacles along the way.
Yet, I’m determined to overcome them—and if not, who cares?
My focus remains on making a meaningful impact, and I will regardless of the hurdles.
I will keep you updated about which university and which Swiss College you should be sceptic before you join any of them, by posting facts only.
Academic schools first of all should be schools. Not courtrooms. Teachers should be teachers and not District Attorneys who see ghosts and conspiracies, and taking tiny issues and make them to look monstrous.
Especially when these teachers have no experience and deep knowledge to the topics they teach. Students should have understanding for the teacher's problems to give their topic in simple words to their students, but not them.
So. Let's see the end of this story and who will lose at the end, as I can prove my side.
And if they don't want to listen, then the world will listen and decide, or even a real court if necessary.
